What can you tell me about EarthSQL?
• EarthSQL was founded in 2019 with 3 clients and now services ~40 active clients.
• EarthSQL data systems include Quest and Xtend.
• Our team of Data Geologists and Data Engineers have experience in other 3rd party geological databases.
What can you tell me about Quest?
• The Quest model and processes combine a relational database with flexibility for clients to capture anything they need. Automated processes streamline the data management workflow, allowing Geologists to be geologists instead of pushing buttons to load data.
• Key automated processes include field data imports, assay report imports, grid conversions, and user exports. Automated emails notify users of data events and QC fails.
• PowerBI reporting summarises drill locations, data completeness, despatch turnaround, significant intercepts, QAQC performance.
What commodities?
• We have experience handling most non-petroleum commodities. These include hard rock minerals and mineral sand elements such as gold, lithium, copper, rare earth elements, tin, zinc and uranium.
What data types?
• Quest is primarily a database for handling drillhole and surface geochemistry, and the geological descriptions of those samples. However, other types of tabulated data can also be handled, such as geotech, hyperspectral, pXRF, scintillometer, magsus, petrology, mineralogy, and mechanical separation work.
• We can also store spatial data in the SQL database, such as tenement or project polygons.
How many Quest databases do you currently manage?
• We currently host ~25 client Quest databases.
• We provide data management consulting and other services to another ~10 mid-tier and major mining companies.
• Serf (our assay management system) is added to other 3rd party systems for several of our mining/exploration clients.
Are you working on any international projects?
• We have clients with projects in South America, Africa, Europe, and Asia, in addition to Australia.
What can you tell me about Xtend?
• Xtend is a system for the management of daily drill report data. Reports summarise the cost/revenues from the drill rigs, and performance metrics.
• Data can be collected from several sources including 3rd party applications, data feeds and APIs or Excel sheets. Data exports can be created for use in other systems.
• If required, invoicing and payroll functionality can be added to Xtend.
How many Xtend databases do you currently manage?
• We currently manage ~10 client Xtend databases.
• Xtend is used by drilling contractors and mining/exploration companies via hosted or deployed systems.
• Xtend can be integrated with Quest or other 3rd party geological databases.
